Bury Council elections – the full results

All the results of yesterday’s Bury Council elections have now been declared, following counting of the votes today at Castle Leisure Centre.

One seat in 16 of the borough’s 17 wards was contested, and each winner will serve a four-year term. The remaining seat (Moorside) will be contested within the next 35 days after the election was cancelled due to the death of a candidate.

The new balance on Bury Council is: Labour 30 seats, Reform 6, Conservatives 3, Radcliffe First 7, Together for Bury 2, Workers Party of Britain 1, Independent 1, with 1 vacancy.

The turnout was 45%.
