Bury town centre evening and night time perception survey

Press release -

Bury town centre evening and night time perception survey

We would like your views about Bury town centre’s evening and night time offer.

In May 2018 Bury town centre was accredited with Purple Flag status for a fourth consecutive year and continues to be the only town in Greater Manchester to fly the Purple Flag in recognition of its thriving night time economy.

Purple Flag is a town and city centre award – similar to Blue Flag for beaches – which aims to raise the standard and broaden the appeal of town and city centres between 6pm and 6am.

Purple Flag towns are recognised for providing a vibrant and diverse mix of dining, entertainment and culture while promoting the safety and wellbeing of visitors and local residents.

If you spend evenings and nights out in Bury town centre, we would like to know what you think. We would also like to hear from you if you don’t currently visit Bury town centre in the evening.

The feedback from the surveywill be used to guide future developments and improvements and identify any issues in the town centre.
