Cash boost for business to recruit apprentices

Press release -

Cash boost for business to recruit apprentices

Grants of up to £3,000 are available to small and medium sized businesses to support their recruitment of apprentices.

Apprenticeships, which combine workplace training with study, can have a big impact on an organisation, from improving profitability to bringing in new skills.

Many businesses choose to recruit an apprentice, not least because the UK economy is boosted by £28 for every £1 invested in an apprentice.

The grants are available to companies with a wage bill of less than £3 million. Other eligibility applies.

All the details are on the Bury Means Business website: https://burymeansbusiness.bury.gov.uk/13967
