Press release -

Cash grants available for community groups

The process is now open for local people and organisations across the Borough to flag up schemes that might improve health and wellbeing within their communities.

Launched in November 2017, The Pitch continues to grow in popularity, with 122 projects seeking support in the last round.

Bidders ultimately showcase their proposals to people in their own community, who then have the opportunity to vote on which projects they want to fund.

As well as events in the Borough’s six townships where communities can gather to hear about and vote on proposals, for the first time The Pitch will also be open for on-line voting.

For all the details of how to apply, and how to vote, go to the One Community Bury site at https://www.onecommunitybury.co.uk/grants-funding-page
