Charity Christmas cards now on sale at Tourist Information Centre

Staff at Bury’s Tourist Information Centre are getting into the festive spirit as they launch this year’s ‘Cards for Good Causes’ charity Christmas cards sale.

Shoppers can choose cards from 25 national and local charities including the Alzheimer’s Society, the NSPCC and many more.

Cath Ashton from the TIC said: “Over the past five years the people of Bury have shown great support to charities by sending charity cards at Christmas time. It’s a great way to buy once and give twice.”

Also on sale at the centre is the official 2016 Bury calendar, which this year includes some stunning views from across the borough taken by local residents. Each month features a scenic image such as Holcombe Hill, Ramsbottom, Bury and Radcliffe.

The Tourist Information Centre is located in the Fusilier Museum on Moss Street, where visitors will find a well stocked gift shop for Christmas shopping ideas and a Delicious cafe serving local fare.
