​Church ward by-election to be held on 12 December

A Bury Council by-election will be held in Church ward on Thursday 12 December, the same day as the General Election.

The election will fill the vacancy created by the death in September of councillor Susan Nuttall, who had represented the ward for nearly seven years.

Anyone who wishes to stand as a candidate in the by-election has until 15 November to submit their nomination forms. Nomination papers are available here https://www.bury.gov.uk/nominations-churchward or can be collected from the elections office at Bury Town Hall. You can book an appointment to hand in your nomination form by calling 0161 253 5113.
