Come and see the new plans for the £40m Radcliffe Civic Hub

Radcliffe residents are invited to come along and view the latest plans for the £40m Radcliffe Civic Hub.

The last of the public drop-in meetings takes place on Saturday 10 September at Radcliffe Market from 10am to 12.30pm.

Hundreds of local people have already attended the previous sessions, and given their comments either in person or via the council’s website.

The Radcliffe Civic Hub will be built in the heart of the town centre. In 2024, it will become the new permanent home for leisure in Radcliffe, together with a new library, learning opportunities, community space and enhanced support for health and wellbeing.

Councillor Eamonn O’Brien, leader of Bury Council and cabinet member for strategic growth, said: “There has been excellent attendance at the feedback events already held, and we’d really like to see a big turnout at the final event on Radcliffe Market.

“These plans will truly transform Radcliffe for generations to come, so it’s vital that local people take part in the consultation and play a full role in determining the future shape of their town. Please come along to find out more and have your say.”
