Corrie star to attend Spurr House Open Day

Guest star Judy Holt, who plays Lesley Kershaw in Coronation Street, will be attending the Spurr House Open Day on 26 April to show her support for the project.

Spurr House short stay adult care service in Unsworth has been improved over the past couple of months and facilities now include:

  • A new modern, welcoming and professional front of house reception
  • 4 newly named suites with a royal theme (Windsor, Ascot, Sandringham, Highgrove) which consist of a lounge, kitchen and communal wet room
  • 35 bedrooms with enclosed bathrooms which now have a clean, bright and modern edge and décor to ensure that our customers stay is comfortable and enjoyable for the duration of their stay.
  • A newly refurbished restaurant and activities hub.

The open day takes place from 10am-5pm will allow customers and their families, as well as members of the local community, a chance to:

  • Find out more about short stay services over tea, coffee and lovely homemade cakes.
  • Have a go in our raffle and grab your chance to win a range of fantastic prizes
  • Have a full tour of the new facilities and building including the brand new Highgrove Suite
  • Get further information about what we do and what we can offer.
  • Find out more about our recent new branding and cast your vote on the style of new staff uniforms.
