Discover our new adult learning courses at our Open Days

Residents are invited to discover a new world of learning with the latest courses run by Bury’s adult learning service.

Two Open Days are being held next month (5 and 6 July) for visitors to pick up a copy of the Autumn 2019 course guide, and meet the professional staff to find out how they can help you improve your job prospects, creative skills and your health and wellbeing.

You can also take part in activities and taster sessions, and visit the exhibition of learners’ work in art, crafts, creative textiles, upholstery, patchwork, dressmaking, photography and creative writing.

The open days are held at Bury Adult Learning Centre, 18 Haymarket Street, Bury, BL9 0AQ (opposite Bury Interchange and Bury Town Hall). Refreshments are provided on both days.

Friday’s session runs from 11am to 3pm and there are free taster sessions in watercolour landscapes and patchwork. Saturday’s open day is from 11am to 2pm and offers a taster session in watercolour landscapes.

To book a place on a taster session, call 0161 253 5772.

All the details of the courses can be found on our website at https://www.bury.gov.uk/index.aspx?articleid=14831
