Press release -
Explore menopause and wellbeing: free webinars and sessions
A series of free ‘in person’ and online webinars is taking place to mark Menopause Awareness Month.
Libraries across the North West have joined forces to host expert-led sessions and introduce a new book collection focused on perimenopause and menopause.
The aim is to start conversations, challenge misconceptions, and explore the support available.
With the theme “Lifestyle Medicine”, the spotlight is on how menopause impacts both physical and mental health, and how informed lifestyle choices can make a meaningful difference to overall wellbeing.
Two local ‘in person’ sessions:
Wednesday 15 October - Prestwich Library (10.30am to 11.30am) and Castle Leisure Centre in Bury (7pm to 8pm).
Learn about HRT, bone and heart health, nutrition and sleeping and coping strategies during perimenopause and menopause. No booking required, just turn up!
