Work will begin this week to resurface a number of roads in Prestwich.

  • Mount Road (2-13 September).
  • Cuckoo Lane (9-20 Sep).
  • Ostrich Lane (9-20 Sep).
  • Upper Wilton Street (9-15 Sep).
  • Woodward Road (16-30 Sep).

Councillor Alan Quinn, cabinet member for the environment, said: “Our £20 million programme of highways improvements has included a number of major road resurfacing schemes across Bury and Radcliffe, and now it’s Prestwich’s turn to benefit, with these streets following previous work at Hilton Lane, Butterstile Road, Heywood Road and several others.”
