Free IT sessions at Bury Library

Press release -

Free IT sessions at Bury Library

Bury Library is running free Get You Started sessions on Thursday 23 May for those who are new to the internet.

There are still seven million people in the UK who have never visited the world wide web, the majority aged over 55, and are missing out on the advantages such as managing finances online or keeping in touch with family and friends.

The sessions co-incide with Adult Learners Week (18-24 May), which promotes lifelong learning, whether to improve job prospects, start a new career, improve physical and mental health, or simply for fun.

The one-hour sessions take place between 2pm and 5pm. For more details, and to book a place, call 0161 253 7089 or email bury.libcomputers@bury.gov.uk
