Bury town centre is already one of Greater Manchester's most successful places for shopping, leisure and culture. The next phase of investment is about protecting that success and building on it.
Community organisations across Bury are being invited to apply for a share of £40,000 through the new Bury Culture Fund, a grants programme to support community-led arts, culture and heritage activities across the Bury borough.
The Library Team at Bury Council is advising customers that Prestwich Library will be temporarily closed on Sunday 14 June between 9.30am and 1pm due to the Prestwich Carnival taking place in St Mary’s Park.
