Future of Urgent Care Provision hot topic for Whitefield and Unsworth Township Forum

Residents are invited to attend the Whitefield & Unsworth Township Forum on Tuesday 20 September to discuss the future of urgent care provision within their area.

A representative from NHS Bury’s Clinical Commissioning Group will be on hand to hear the views of local residents.

Residents will also have the chance to take part in workshops that will focus on how positive improvements can be delivered within the communities of Whitefield & Unsworth over the next 12 months. As well, there will be updates on the www.theburydirectory.co.uk (the one-stop information point for advice, support, activities services and more), the health centre development on Uplands and the funding available to voluntary and community groups.

The meeting is at the Elms Community Centre and starts at 6.30pm, with a police drop-in session for residents beginning at 5.30pm.There will also be the usual open forum in which to raise any local matters.
