Christmas cards to benefit charities are being sold at Bury Tourist Information Centre for the 11th consecutive festive season.

Head for the Fusilier Museum foyer, opposite Bury Art Museum, and take a look at the large range on offer including for the first time Christmas cards featuring scenes of Bury.

Angela Warrington at the TIC said: “Charities have struggled during the Covid pandemic and one of the best things we can do is support them with our choices during the festive season. This year we are supporting a number of charities for the first time, along with the RSPB, Help for Heroes, the RNLI and Bury Hospice.

“We also have a wonderful collection of gifts and stocking fillers that you won’t see in local shops, so if you are looking for something a bit different call in and see what’s on offer.”

The ever-popular Official Bury Calendar will be on sale for 2022, featuring a selection of photographs taken in Bury by local residents over the last ten years.

These calendars are shipped all over the world to friends, relatives and former residents - call 0161 253 5111 to reserve yours, or visit the TIC anytime between 10am and 4.30pm, Monday to Saturday.
