Going mad with the Mad Science team

Youngsters have been learning all about science thanks to Moorside Community Centre and Library.

For the 3rd year running, the library organised a fun day of workshops with the Mad Science Team.

This was the biggest event yet, with more than 130 children and adults taking part. The first 90 visitors got the opportunity to try some hands-on experiments involving creating electricity and static using bouncy balls.

For information on the Mad Science team see http://madscience.org/
