Green Gym needs new members

The days are getting shorter but there is still much to do in Chesham Local Nature Reserve.

Every Sunday (1.30-4pm) until Christmas, the Chesham Fold Green Gym will get together to help keep the reserve looking great, keep fit and meet new friends.

The Green Gym carries out a huge range of tasks each week, from vegetation clearance and footpath maintenance to dry stone wall building and tree planting.

To join the Chesham Green Gym, come to the next session at Clarence Woods on Sunday 30 September (1.30-4pm) to learn more about woodland maintenance tasks. The group will meet at theLidocar park at 1.30pm.

For the latest Green Gym programme, call Jacqui Goggs on 0161 253 7764 or email j.goggs@bury.gov.uk.
