The day includes activities from Bury Paranetball Team, computer and craft workshops, information stalls from Bury Council, CVFA, GMP and community groups.

The event is led by Bury LGBT+ Forum in partnership with the council and community groups, and will be opened by the Mayor of Bury, Councillor Shaheena Haroon.

A speech in memory of the Manchester Arena bombing victim Olivia Campbell will be given by her grandmother Sharon Goodman.

The event lasts from 12 to 4pm and refreshments are available.

Councillor Richard Gold, cabinet member for communities and finance, said: “We are proud that Bury is home to many different cultures, faiths and communities. It is important that hate crime is never tolerated and that the council's Let's Do it strategy of inclusion at its heart is followed.”
