Have your say at Bury East Township Forum

A packed agenda awaits on Thursday 7 February when the forum meets at Metro Christian Centre, Parkhills Road at 7pm.

Bury Council will give a presentation on its Plan for Change draft programme of savings and an update will be given on the priorities contained in the Bury East Township Plan.

There will also be a presentation from the Shadow Health and Wellbeing Board to explain their work in Bury. Questions can be put during the open forum in the second half of the meeting.

Tan Ahmed, forum chair, said: “Bury East Township Forum gives local people a fantastic platform to get involved with important issues in their area. The forum is here to promote understanding and each individual living in Bury East knows that for us to achieve our goals we must work together. We encourage as many people as possible to attend the forum and contribute to the discussion about their community.”
