Help draw up an Action Plan for Prestwich

A special meeting of Prestwich Township Forum will be held on Tuesday 14 May to start drawing up an action plan for the year ahead.

This will allow local residents and community groups to meet councillors and service providers and agree the priorities for Prestwich, from health and well-being to community safety, from education and learning opportunities to community pride and belonging and town centre regeneration.

The meeting is held at Church Lane Community Centre and will be open to the public from 5.30pm, where visitors can have a cup of tea or coffee and look at some of the relevant information. The meeting proper will run from 6pm to 8pm.

David Stanley, forum chair, said: “We hope that as many people as possible from the Prestwich community will attend. It is essential that we hear the views of local people. Everyone will be made very welcome.”
