Press release -

Housing and benefit changes – come and see

Big changes to council housing and benefits are coming in, and Bury Council is inviting residents to find out more.

A meeting of the Housing Customer Forum is being held at Bury Town Hall on Tuesday 26 March from 1pm to 4.30pm.

Visitors can try out the new online housing applications process and make suggestions on how it can be improved. They can also help to design an updated housing reception space at the town hall, and also taste and rate ICare’s community meals for free.

Advisors from the Benefits Bus will be there to answer questions from anyone who wants to know how the welfare reforms will affect them.

For more information, call 0161 253 6021 or email CALteam@bury.gov.uk
