Housing consultations – have your say now

A final workshop has been arranged for residents and landlords who want to comment on proposed changes to housing policies.

Bury Council is seeking views on its Allocation Policy, which will determine who should get priority for council housing and aims to target those most in need.

A second policy for social and private landlords, called the Strategic Tenancy Policy, is also being prepared. This focuses on lifetime tenancies, adapted properties for people with disabilities, and rent levels.

The workshop will be held on Wednesday 28 November at the Peel Room inBuryTown Hall, from 2pm to 5pm.
