‘Improving Lives’ the focus of Bury East Township Forum

Bury East residents are invited to the next Township Forum which takes place on Tuesday 4 February.

On the agenda:

• Representatives from Bury Carer’s Centre will discuss the service they provide and the support available to carers in Bury

• An update on the Bury East Alcohol Prospectus Scheme, which aims to tackle alcohol-related anti-social behaviour in the area

• News from Greater Manchester Police on how they are tackling issues in the community

• Feedback on the 2013 successes of the local Township Plan and looking at youth issues in 2014

The meeting takes place at St Paul’s CE Primary School, Porritt Street, Bury and starts at 7pm. The usual open forum and public question time will be on the agenda in the second half of the meeting.
