Join us for the first annual Bury Pride autumn benefit

Pop Idol Michelle McManus will be the star attraction at the first annual Bury Pride autumn benefit show.

This ‘black tie’ extravaganza promises to be one of the social events in Bury, and is held at the Elizabethan Suite on Friday 28 September.

It’s a unique chance to enjoy a glamour night of entertainment, great food and drink, with proceeds going to Bury Pride and local LGBT causes.

Enter at the impressive ceremonial entrance of the town hall to a welcome by circus performers and a drinks reception, then enjoy a three-course meal and wine, plus a few surprises and entertainment headlined by Michelle McManus and Miss Vivienne Lynsey.

Supported by Bury Council, Bury Venues, The Best of Bury and Tower FM, the event runs from 6.30pm to 12.30am – and there’s a VIP ‘after party’ until 2am.

Councillor Tamoor Tariq, cabinet member for communities and safer neighbourhoods, said: “Bury Pride just goes from strength to strength, giving so many people the chance to have fun while raising awareness of LGBT issues. This will be a fabulous night – why not book your tickets now?”

Tickets are £40 per person: to book, call the Bury Venues team on 0161 253 5196 or 0161 253 5903.

  • Why not make a night of it, thanks to the sponsorship of our accommodation partner The Village Hotel?

This special deal includes two tickets to the Bury Pride benefit, access to the VIP after-party, plus bed and breakfast for two at The Village Hotel Bury, which includes full use of The Village’s leisure, gym and spa facilities. The cost is £90 each based on two people sharing.
