Launch a successful career with an apprenticeship

Apprentice Charlotte Bishop has created a successful career since embarking on an apprenticeship in Childcare with Bury College.

As a result of successfully completing a Level 2 and 3 Childcare Apprenticeship at Redvales Children’s Centre in Bury she was employed as a Project Support Learner and praised by the centre for her ‘ideas and creativity’.

Since then, Charlotte has gained promotion to Development Worker.  A varied and responsible role where she deputising in the absence of her manager, organising a wide range of events for the local community and working hard to promote the centre to ensure targets are met.

Charlotte said:“The apprenticeship was an alternative route to university which was perfect for me. I have gained valuable experience and qualifications that have helped me to really progress in my career.”

Determined to succeed in her career, Charlotte has also completed a range of in house training courses and developed her skills further by completing a Leadership and Management Certificate with Business Solutions Bury College.
