Learn to write comedy like the experts – for free!

BAFTA award-winning comedy writer Sophie Willan is to deliver an exclusive comedy writing course especially for Prestwich Library.

This free course will run over four weeks, starting on Thursday 17 March (5-7pm) – to book your tickets, go to https://www.eventbrite.com/e/writing-semi-autobiographical-comedy-tickets-274752170137

Participants will explore all things comedy - including writing fiction comedy from real life events, how to write for scripts for TV, how to create your first stand-up routine, and more.

All participants will also get tickets to a stand-up comedy show - Off-limits by Jonny Pelham on 26 April at The Lowry Theatre
