Meet the author at Ramsbottom Library

Press release -

Meet the author at Ramsbottom Library

Author David Nolan will be visiting Ramsbottom Library on Thursday 22 September at 6.30pm.

He will be talking about his latest book “The Ballad of Hanging Lees”, the third book in his ‘Manc Noir’ trilogy.

David’s books are based in the North West of England on real events he experienced as a journalist, including the very sinister and dark worlds of online grooming and child protection. His previous books “Black Moss” and “The Mermaid’s Pool” have tackled child protection and the rise of the Far Right.

David became a fiction writer by accident after a successful run of music biographies, including books on Tony Wilson, the Sex Pistols and Ed Sheeran.

The event will also be attended by Ramsbottom artist Lucy Milburn, who drew the maps which appear in his books.

This is a free event - book your place by calling Ramsbottom Library 0161 253 5352.
