Memories are made of this

Press release -

Memories are made of this

Money raised from events held during Dementia Awareness Week in Bury is music to the ears of a local support group.

Musical Memories, a project run for people who have memory problems, dementia and their carers, is £200 better off thanks to Bury Council's social development team, Making Space, the Alzheimer's Society, and Asda.

The group meets every Friday (10am to noon) at the Manna House in Irwell Street, Bury to enjoy listening to music and singing together - open to all abilities! Anyone who is interested in attending or hosting a Musical Memories session should call 0161 763 4163.
