New guided walk through Chesham Wood and parkland

Keen to get active and enjoy the outdoors? Then a new health walk starting in Bury East on Monday 19 November could be just what the doctor ordered.

This circular walk takes in two of Bury’s Green Flag Parks - Hoyles Park and Clarence Park - as well as Chesham Woods.

Walkers should meet at Hoyles Park car park, where the walk starts at 1pm. There will be a 15-20 minute rest/coffee break in one of the cafes in Clarence Park (either the Green Café or the Jubilee Café) with a return to Hoyles Park by 3pm.

This is the latest initiative set up under the Bury Walking for Health scheme, which provides trained walk leaders to take people round some of the borough’s most scenic spots.
