Nominate a STAR who really makes a difference

Do you know someone or a group of people who work or volunteer for Bury Council who have gone that extra mile?

You can thank and recognise those people by nominating them for a STAR (Special Thanks And Recognition) award.

There is an award for Individual Employee of the Year and Team of the Year for each of the council’s three departments: resource and regulation; children, young people and culture; and communities and wellbeing.

There is also a team award for Partnership Team of the Year and awards for Volunteer and Learner of the Year.

The most prestigious award to be given out is the Mike Kelly Employee of the Year award. This is sponsored by, and takes its name from, a former chief executive of Bury Council.

Nominees will considered by the council’s senior leaders, and awards will be presented at a ceremony to be arranged early next year.

The closing date for nominations is Friday 1 December. To nominate a person or a team, go to https://burymbc.firmstep.com/default.aspx/RenderForm/?F.Name=pg78y5wtLF6&HideAll=1
