Once upon a time – it’s National Storytelling Week!

Toddlers are invited to enjoy a ‘Traditional Stories and Story Crafts’ session at Prestwich Library on Thursday 5 February.

The event, which takes place during National Storytelling Week, is for pre-school aged children and runs from 9.30am to 1pm.

Youngsters are invited to come dressed as their favourite fairytale character, and must be accompanied by a responsible adult. The cost is 50p per child.

Meanwhile, a monthly Adult Storytelling Group meets at Prestwich Library on Thursday 5 February (6.30pm to 9pm). Visitors can listen to traditional oral storytelling, and join in and tell their own stories. It aims to be fun, nostalgic and interactive, and the cost is £2 per adult which includes refreshments.
