Packed agenda at Ramsbottom Township Forum

Residents can have their say on the council’s budget plans when Ramsbottom, Tottington and North Manor Township Forum meets on Tuesday 10 January 2017.

The road show will outline where the authority plans to cut £32 million over the next three years. Consultation is open until 31 January.

The meeting will also hear from Persona Care and Support, who will invite people to join a ‘stakeholder forum’ to help shape the future of social care.

There will also be updates from the forum’s advisory group and the funding available to voluntary and community groups.

The meeting is at Tottington Methodist Church, starting at 7pm. The usual open forum and public question time is also on the agenda.

Before the meeting, from 6pm, there will be a ‘market place’ event where residents can view the proposals for housing and jobs contained in the Greater Manchester Spatial Framework.

Further details: David Thomas, Township Forum manager, on 0161 253 7455.
