Press release -

Residents’ chance to play crucial role in Radcliffe Pride in Place programme

Radcliffe residents are being given the chance to play a crucial role in how £20 million should be spent in the town.

A special Neighbourhood Board is being assembled to decide how the money, awarded through the Government’s Pride in Place programme, can best be used over a ten-year period.

Applications are now open for the Chair of the board, and people can also express an interest in becoming a future board member.

The Chair will be someone who can bring the Radcliffe community together to share their ideas in an open and collaborative way.

Their primary job is to be a champion for Radcliffe and to embody the community-led spirit of the Pride in Place Programme. The Chair can be new to this kind of work but should have a deep connection to Radcliffe.

The deadline for applications is 25 March. To apply, and for more details, go to Radcliffe Pride in Place Programme - Bury Council
