Revitalising the communities of Bury East

Residents are invited to attend Bury East Township Forum on Thursday 8 September to help shape proposals to improve the area over the next 12 months.

People can also have their say about the future of urgent care provision, following a presentation from NHS Bury’s Clinical Commissioning Group.

There will also be updates on the Bury Directory, the forum’s advisory group, and the funding available to voluntary and community groups, plus the usual open forum in which to raise any local matters.

The meeting is in the Peel Room at Bury Town Hall and starts at 7pm, preceded by a police drop-in session for residents beginning at 6pm.

Further details: David Thomas, township co-ordinator, on 0161 253 7455.
