Road works in Knowsley Street – diversions in place

Work will start on Monday 16 February to repair the carriageway on Knowsley Street between Bury Town Hall and Knowsley Place.

The repairs will be done on behalf of Ask Development as part of remediation works in relation to the Townside development.

During construction a one-way system will operate on Knowsley Street between the Q Park entrance and Angouleme Way, with traffic flowing towards Angouleme Way. Southbound traffic will be diverted along Angouleme Way and Manchester Road. The remainder of Knowsley Street will still be open to two-way traffic.

The works are scheduled to last five weeks.
