Set the priorities for Bury West

Bury West Township Forum holds its first meeting of the new municipal year on Thursday 7July.

One of its first tasks is to discuss the priorities for 2016/2017, as well as to appoint a chair and vice-chair.

There will also be updates from the police, from the forum’s advisory group, and about the grants awarded to community groups.

The meeting will also feature the usual open forum when residents can raise any local matters.

The meeting is at the Elton Centre and starts at 7pm: however, a member of the Neighbourhood Policing Team will be there from 6pm to discuss any issues relating to crime and disorder that residents wish to raise.

Further details: Christine Maksymowski, Bury West township co-ordinator, on 0161 253 7941.
