​Sign up for free digital skills courses

Free six-week digital skills courses are available over the next two months thanks to Bury Adult Learning and Bury Libraries.

The realities of lockdown and social distancing over the past months have shown how invaluable digital skills are, with shopping, work, education and connecting with family and friends all happening online and with new technologies.

On these courses, you will learn basic tablet/smartphone skills, how to communicate with others using email, how to buy goods and services, access public services and search for information, how to share photos with friends and family using email and learn how to stay safe and legal online.

These free courses start on the following dates and at these venues - risk assessments have been done and social distancing measures will be in place.

Attic Project (based at 3 Russell Street, Bury BL9 5AX)

From Tuesday 3 November for 6 weeks (12.30pm to 2.30pm)

Prestwich Library

From Wednesday 4 November for 6 weeks (10am to noon)

Bury Adult Learning Centre

From Thursday 5 November for 6 weeks (1pm to 3pm)
