Sign up the family for the Sport Relief Mile

Families are urged to dig out their running shoes and compete in the Sainsburys Sport Relief Mile in Bury.

The event is being organised by Bury Sport and Physical Activity Service and takes places at Burrs Country Park in Bury on Sunday 23 March.

People of all ages and abilities are invited to take part, and you can simply walk the course if you prefer.

The charity appeal aims totransform the lives of people living in the UK and in some of the world’s poorest countries.

The event runs from 11am to 3 pm, and you can choose to walk or run either one, three or six miles.

Entry fees are £6 for adults and £3 for under-16s, or £15 for two adults and two children.
