Stars shine in magical pantomime treat for all
An S Club pop princess will face an Eastenders star over the rainbow in Radcliffe!
The two of them will star in a production of “The Wizard of Oz”, which comes to Radcliffe Civic Suite for one night only on Monday 7 April.
The venue’s Easter half-term production will see S Club 7 singer Tina Barrett play the wicked Witch of the West opposite Eastenders’ Melissa Suffield as Dorothy and star of Citv’s Hi 5 Chris Edgerley.
S Club 7 were formed by Spice Girls manager Simon Fuller and sold ten million albums, received two Brit Awards and were awarded Record of the Year. An audience of 90 million world-wide viewers enjoyed their popular TV series and a box office smash-hit movie, Seeing Double, along with numerous sell-out arena tours.
Eastender’s star Melissa Suffield is known to millions as Lucy Beale from the hit soap. She has a large number of theatre credits to her name and has recently finished a nationwide tour of the children’s classic fairytale Beauty and the Beast playing Belle.
