Story sessions for children at Prestwich Library

Youngsters are invited to take part in Twilight Tales, Eco Craft and Saturday story sessions at Prestwich Library.

Twilight Tales: Story sessions will celebrate the ‘Traveller Roma’ history month with stories including Life on a Canal Barge, The Circus and Fairground. Held from 4pm to 5pm on Friday evenings (5, 12, 19, and 26 June). Each session includes a craft to complement the story. Cost per child is £1, booking is essential and is for primary school aged children.Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Eco Craft and Story: This Eco craft session is based on The Owl and the Pussy Cat. Held on Saturday 6 June (10am to noon). Cost per child is £1, booking is essential.For children aged 5 and above, who must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Saturday Stories: Held onSaturday 20 June (10am to noon); stories include The Carousel Horse and other traveller tales plus craft. Also on Saturday 27 June (10am to noon), taking a look at Canal Art. Cost for each session is £1 per child, and they are suitable for primary school aged children who must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
