Walking in a winter wanderland!

Get to know Bury’s countryside by joining Bury Ranger Service on a guided winter wander on Wednesday 6 February.

The 4.5-mile walk over moderate terrain will start at Burrs Country Park, going to Chesham Woods Local Nature Reserve and passing Clarence Lido before returning to Burrs. There will be an opportunity to find out more about the varied work of the ranger service.

Walkers should meet at the chimney at Burrs at 10.30am, and wear suitable footwear and clothing. There’s no need to book, but further details are available from Kathryn Fairclough on 0161 253 7984.
