The Bury Walking for Health scheme weekly led walks are to gradually resume to give people the chance to get outdoors and enjoy the borough’s countryside.
Residents are to be helped to discover the beautiful countryside and nature on their doorsteps through a new book of 13 guided walks [https://www.gmwalking.co.uk/bury-self-led-walks].
Volunteers are needed to lead scenic walks across the borough which will help to keep local residents fit and well.
To celebrate the arrival of spring, Bury’s ranger service is leading two guided circular walks in April.
Get to know Bury’s countryside by joining Bury Ranger Service on a guided winter wander on Wednesday 6 February.
