Press release -

We can help to trace your history

A new local and family history research service has been launched by Bury libraries for those who want experienced professional help.

The service is for those looking into their family’s past, but also for those who are researching a building or a business.

There is a fee for this service, depending on the complexity of the case.  For more detailed information about the charges see http://www.bury.gov.uk/index.aspx?articleid=7255

To make a research request online, use the Contact Local and Family History Online link, indicating how much time you want the service to spend on the research, and you will then be informed of the payment options. For more details, email information@bury.gov.uk or call 0161 253 5871.
