Press release -
Wheels 4 All = opportunities for all!
Bury Sports and Physical Activity Service is working with Jigsaw to provide new fitness opportunities for all.
The Wheels 4 All scheme has returned to Clarence Park for its 2018 season. It’s a nationally recognised cycling initiative which believes that health and fitness, and particularly cycling, should be for everyone.
Jigsaw is a sports and social group for young disabled people aged 13-30, based in Bury. Its aims are to promote fun, freedom and independence, to support people to enjoy an active social life, and help people reach their sporting potential and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
Wheels 4 All offers a range of bikes to suit everyone's needs whether they are young, old, male, female or have a disability. This includes two-wheel bikes, three-wheelers, four-wheelers, hand-propelled bikes, wheelchair load-bearing bikes and much more.
This season Wheels 4 All offers private group bookings, new loyalty cards and special ‘buy one get one free’ sessions. To find out about open sessions, visit our new website https://wheelsforallbury.wixsite.com/buryw4a
One Jigsaw member said: “I have enjoyed so many opportunities to get involved and build my confidence levels. I have been able to enjoy improved concentration levels and improved fitness levels. Jigsaw is a massive piece of my life - if I didn’t have Jigsaw I’d be lost without it!”
