"The Kind Heroes animated cartoon series talks about difficult subjects in an approachable way. In partnership with Veganuary we aim to raise awareness of the effects our food choices might have on climate and to inspire people to contribute to positive change by trying vegan diet for a month", says Mick Van Ettinger, CMO of LIVEKINDLY Collective.

Toni Vernelli, International Head of Communications at  Veganuary, comments: "We are excited that LIVEKINDLY Collective is part of a growing movement, as supporters of the Veganuary 2022 campaign, to inspire people to move to a plant-based diet as a way of protecting the environment, preventing animal suffering and improving the health of millions of people."

Vernelli adds: "We hope this fun film from LIVEKINDLY Collective inspires people to be more Ralph and do their bit to help tackle climate change and sign up to Veganuary!"

The Kind Heroes is the original series of animated cartoon films created by a renowned Dutch artist, Toon van Driel, and produced by LIVEKINDLY Collective. The Kind Heroes are passionate and lovable animals making conscious living the new norm. The cartoons are chronicling the Kind Heroes’ quests to use their magic powers and save themselves and their animal friends from being hurt.

It was Dutch cartoonist Toon van Driel's passion for animals that inspired him to create Ralph the Calf and his kind, heroic animal friends. He comments: "It's a fun cartoon with a serious message behind it. I hope these tales will help people find empathy for animals."

CloseUp PR collaborated with LIVEKINDLY Collective and Veganuary.

"With our broad network of contacts and experience from film, media and plant-based worlds we loved working on this special episode of the Kind Heroes series", says Monika Agorelius, Managing Director at CloseUp PR.
