Attractive mobile ROV solution from ESVAGT
ESVAGT and DBB ROV-services are working together on an efficient ROV concept that will make underwater inspections faster and cheaper.
The cooperation between ESVAGT and DBB ROV-services makes visual inspection by ROV more efficient and considerably more cost effective than comparable operations performed using specialist vessels or supply vessels.
“ESVAGT’s group 2 vessels have the ideal size and equipment for ROV operations,” says Ib Hansen, Head of Commercial:
“The vessels are just large enough for ROV operations; there is room on board for two ten-foot containers and the vessels are equipped with the cranes needed, while the absence of additional costly equipment combined with excellent fuel efficiency makes ROV inspection possible at particularly competitive prices,” he says.
Rapid mobilisation, according to Paw Møller Christensen, General Manager for DBB ROV-services, is an additional advantage gained from working together:
“Mobilisation is fast and efficient. As soon as a customer contacts either us or ESVAGT, we are ready to go. We know that all the necessary certificates are in place, the crews and teams are trained and the collaboration between the teams has been tested and proven to work. The short line of command makes it fast and easy to commence the inspections,” he says.
