Press release -

New construction on track

ESVAGT’s new office building on the Dock Harbour at Esbjerg will be ready for occupancy in the summer of 2014

ESVAGT’s first land-based construction is progressing as planned.

The Dock Harbour domicile that will replace the company HQ on Adgangsvejen marked "halfway reached" with a topping-out ceremony on Thursday 6 February, and both the time schedule and the budget seem to follow plans, so it will be ready for occupancy in the summer of 2014.

- The winter has been sparse with frost but then offered a lot of rain and wind. It was not just fun to work in, but the builders should be commended for working hard, says Bjarne Poulsen, Chief Financial Officer in ESVAGT.

When the building has been completed it will house approx. 60 staff who will service the 750 people occupied offshore.

The first lady in the domicile already passed by, a tough lady called Bodil (name of tough gale on 5 December 2013):

- The gale called Bodil resulted in a very high water level, but we experienced that our high water system is working, says Bjarne Poulsen.

Facts

The domicile will cover almost 2,000 sq. m. Add to this workshop and warehouses on the Dock Harbour of another 2,200 sq. m.
