Go North East's parent company, the Go-Ahead Group, today launches a campaign to encourage more women to apply for jobs in the bus industry – including driving buses, maintaining vehicles and managing depots.
The current bus stops at Market Place, Chapter Row, Keppel Street and Denmark Centre will be closed. This means the route buses take in South Shields will change, along with the stops which are served.

The new hop-on hop-off city tour bus will run every weekend from Saturday 29 June until Saturday 20 July, and then run every day during the summer holidays.
