Press release -

Easter rail services with Great Northern

On Good Friday, 30 March, and Easter Monday, 2 April, Great Northern will be running an enhanced Saturday service.

The following changes will be made at the weekend:

  • Easter Saturday and Easter Sunday: Moorgate services diverted into King's Cross
  • Easter Sunday: buses all day between Royston and Cambridge

Network Rail is upgrading the track on the Moorgate route and improving safety at Shepreth level crossing.

A spokesman for Great Northern, which is operated by Govia Thameslink Railway, said: "We wish all our passengers a happy Easter and advise them to check before they travel because of this important engineering work by Network Rail."
