UPDATED: Network Rail statement about today's disruption
Following significant disruption today, Network Rail has issued this further statement:
“Despite our best efforts, the knock-on effects of an interruption to our signalling power supply mean that we will not be able to run a full Southern service from Victoria and London Bridge this evening.

Network Rail apology for disruption
Network Rail has issued the following apology after this morning's disruption.
A Network Rail spokesperson said: “During overnight engineering work, Network Rail contractors damaged overhead line equipment near Welywn North station after they struck it with a crane. This affected trains this morning as no services were able to run through the area.
